Gisburn 'Figure of Eight' is a fantastic trail within Gisburn Forest. It provides you with a multitude of differing sections that require specific skills to deal with them, for instance Roots like a vipers nest, exposure sufficient to make you feel on the edge of your comfort zone, a huge berm ridden black(Hully Gully), rock sections, North Shore wood, flowing trails through trees & if that wasn't enough there's a rock slab black plus the Hope Line which is a nice little DH section. so I'd say make sure you pack all your skills to get the best out of the trail. For the not so adventurous there's a Blue which takes in the first bermy section & avoids the techy bits. This place has great views, good parking £3 per day plus good toilets & a Cafe. It's to use the post code in the sat nav to get to Stephen Park which is where everything starts, bike trails & walking trails *** BB7 4TS ****
