Hiking
The Diefdijk Line was reinforced by the Rivierenland Water Board, in collaboration with many organizations and local residents. Over the years, the dike had weakened. Therefore, seepage walls, sheet piles, and berms were constructed. Simultaneously with the dike reinforcement, batteries, group shelters, and trenches of the New Dutch Waterline were restored, reconstructed, and made accessible. It was precisely this combination that made the work on the Diefdijk Line unique.
