The Zimmerling winery has been producing very special wines since 1992. The winemaker sees a “divine drink” in the wine and is just as careful with it.

The bar is open from Easter from Friday to Sunday between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. You can find more information here: weingut-zimmerling.de.

Super nice location below the vineyards, the view of the valley is fantastic. That is worth going to, v. a. because you can continue cycling towards Graupa in a fairly relaxed manner.

The winery, with its panoramic location over the Elbe valley, is worth the steep climb. The Traminer is a revelation, the food and the seating make it pleasant to linger and difficult to leave. Sculptures by the artist Malgorzata Chodakowska decorate the entire property. If you don't drink wine or sparkling wine, you can choose non-alcoholic secco. And if you like, you can climb the symmetrically laid out vineyard behind the house up to the lace roundabout.

The fine art of viticulture combines with the artistic work of Malgorzata Chodakowska to create a delight for both the eye and the palate. The organic Zimmerling winery produces high-quality wines and adorns the annually changing labels on its wine bottles with works of art by Malgorzata Chodakowska.

The winery cultivates 4 hectares of vineyards on the Pillnitz Royal Vineyard, primarily planting Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Kerner, Gewürztraminer, and Traminer. The favorable soil and climate conditions, along with the care and dedication to viticulture, form the basis for authentic wines with a concentrated, fresh structure and creaminess. The design of the wine bottles is as unique as the taste. Each vintage, the bottles are enhanced with works of art by Malgorzata Chodakowska. In 2010, the winery was awarded the VDP (German Wine Association) Prädikat Winery.

The artist's graceful and delicate sculptures can also be admired in the wine cellar.
