A beautiful road (CM1366) from Travassos, with a very ancient fountain and a lovely washhouse, climbs through nature and woods to a panoramic point with a view of Viseu.
This road also leads to the solitary Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Crasto (I didn't know about it, so I'll return), a place of worship in a perfect and serene panoramic location.
To get there, you'll need to take a stretch of dirt road.
The Chapel of Our Lady of Crasto is located on an elevated area, typical of hills known as "crastos," which historically served as observation points or refuges. This privileged position offers a wide perspective of the surrounding landscape of Viseu. The site is easily accessible within the municipality of Viseu, inviting those seeking a moment of peace and a panoramic view to visit.
