The hiking version isn't particularly well-maintained. I only know the beginning, and it was so bad that I turned back. I actually wanted to just do the hiking version from the beginning of the via ferrata. But the thorns and slippery patches on a very narrow path on the slope weren't ideal.

Hiking

One of the first via ferratas in Central Germany. Not very difficult, but caution is advised as there are exposed sections. It has wire rope protection and iron rungs. Difficult sections can be bypassed. The views and panorama from there are absolutely fantastic.
