The Moritzberg is 603 meters high, forms the gateway to Franconian Switzerland and is known as Röthenbacher and Nürnberger Hausberg. The mountain is a very popular destination for hikers and cyclists. Access by car is private and requires a permit for € 10 from the municipality.
