Tips

The cycle path through the Perlacher Forst is the most pleasant way to get from the city to the racing bike trails just outside the city. The road is in excellent condition (tar) and points straight south, the direction in which most racing cyclists aspire. The only downside is the heavy traffic on sunny weekends by staggering pensioners on their pedelecs, families where the little ones can not keep the bike so in the lane, etc.pp. Nevertheless, I think this section on the weekend for a recommendation - you just have to take some consideration as a racing cyclist on those who are not so routinely on their wheels.

The Gasthaus Giesing is the gateway to the south with direct transition from town to forest. A perfect meeting place for racing bike trips.

THE route out of Munich. What you do not notice on the way out of town: It's easy uphill. On the way back it is all the more beautiful :)

Great for the start of great tours or simply as after-work tour. Is big enough😁

Very good possibility to drive without motorized traffic in the south or towards Unterhaching. Pay attention to asphalt damage!

There is also a car parking lot.

Great road bike road out of the city. Towards the south, it is easy uphill - but you can still properly tempobolzen here. That goes even better in the city.

The Munich Classic. Prob the place we're you run into your other road cycling friends. It's the main connnection for road cyclists that goes south out of town. No cars allowed so you can easily ride next to each other and enjoy a few miles going straight.

Class route through the Perla Forest. From the south it's easy to go downhill. Since it can be run beautifully.

Great flat track of 5km. Best place to start or end a tour to the south of Munich

You are quite alone until the intersection. From there you are, if you drive on the left, under cyclists or you continue straight ahead. This is the Idyllic and quieter version. However, you miss sections on road damage

Flat, straight and good asphalt: Actually a racetrack, but here it is important to take into consideration other cyclists. I've had serious accidents here. Radler seen. Therefore: In oncoming traffic, speed down!

No cars, smooth surface, perfectly straight and protected from winds

Although not a highlight but important to know:
Here the two most important asphalt roads cross the Perlacher Forst (north-south and east-west).
Accidents between cyclists have often happened here, as the intersection is very difficult to see, and you can drive at quite a high speed. So take care!

1000 times described but still felt to 1001 times a clear recommendation: Who wants to take the RR from Munich to the south, who should take this passage.

As great as Ludwig cleared in the Forstenrieder Park, but the, I believe, concreted way is not so wide. If you are alone and do not have to pay attention to cyclists or pedestrians, you can make nice pace

Nice piece to drive. However, it pulls very nicely. Especially out of town because it is a little uphill.
