The property at Hauptstraße 26, often referred to as "Beim Daddy," was designed as a residential building. Its age can be estimated at around 150 to 200 years. The Daddy House is listed on a site map from 1860. Even the oldest hand-painted Kulmain townscape, the Wendelinsbild from 1817, shows a building with its gable facing the main street. The Kulmain property tax register from 1842 contains the following reference: House No. 30; Ambros Wiesend, 1/8 of Elsenhof "beim Federl" – purchased on November 12, 1841, from the farmer's widow Anna Schraml for 3,200 florins.
