The striking feature of the desert garden are the blue glass pyramids, which previously attracted curious visitors at the IGA 2003 in Rostock. These eye-catchers are framed by a traditional irrigation system, the falaj. Plants typical of the region grow in the landscaped herb, vegetable, and fruit garden. The enclosed area is filled with sand directly from the Al Ain oasis. Those who wish can feel the sand in their shoes on the desert path.laurustico.de/index.php/hh-gruen/683-wuestengarten

The pyramids are accessible and house an exhibition about desert gardens.

The pyramids are an eye-catcher on the site, but for me the large pieces of glass do not fit in this garden, which is otherwise very balanced.
