Unfortunately, the Hälllöcher are currently closed because of rockfall and collapse danger!
Risk of death!!!!! Whether they are made accessible again is still unclear!

If you tell the kids it's going to the hell holes, then they're ready for any effort.

I never expected such a scenery! Really great! We were there at the beginning of dusk, it was a great atmosphere. However, we had to hurry to get back to the car before dark.
    Super highlight!

The Dettinger hell holes are designated as a geotope. They are approximately 100 meters long. In the area of the Dettinger hell holes, rock clods of the White Jurassic Delta Formation slowly slide down to the valley over the softer marl of the White Jurassic Gamma Formation. At some point the rock packages on the valley side will plunge into the valley.

The entrance from the top of the Sonnenfels is easy to miss. But it is definitely worth going through the gorge.

Absolutely impressive and also exciting for families with children with the ladders and small climbing passages. It's also great how cool it is on hot days.

On hot days, the Hellholes offer a good cooling off.
The descent or ascent is worthwhile.
