The present estate was founded in 960 AD as a monastery. Today in private ownership (the plant is used by the Klosterkammer Hannover as an agricultural estate), however, visits by arrangement are possible.
An old collegiate church and a large grain barn are still well preserved today. About 50 meters before the driveway everything is prepared for a break. Even for the beloved four-legged friends, there is a water bowl.
