Weg direkt am Fluss entlang

Not just any path directly on the river, but the WERRA long-distance cycle path (also Rosentalweg) and it is beautiful! Not as busy as the neighboring Fulda cycle path.
The path remains mostly flat and runs along the Werra.

When you have driven the entire Werra cycle path from the springs in the Thuringian Forest to here, it is time to say goodbye. The absolutely last stage before the finish Hann. Münden is really nice again, sometimes a bit narrow, especially with large luggage, but definitely very nice, from the Autobahn / ICE-Trassen-Werra bridges to Hann. Munden. Very quiet, since there is no road next to it, definitely a worthy farewell to the otherwise beautiful and quiet Werra bike path. At the destination Hann. You should definitely go to the Weserstein at the confluence of the Werra and Fulda to the Weser, as well as the very beautiful old town with many half-timbered houses. Then you can decide whether you want to drive the Fulda bike path towards Kassel or the Weser bike path further north, both paths are also very nice and worthwhile, just like this one.

Perfect to end an exhausting tour. Occasionally there are a few idyllic spots by the water to linger.
