The Enkheimer Wald is a relatively large green area between Enkheim and Mainkur. Part of the Frankfurt Green Belt Loop.

The forest is home to some of Frankfurt's oldest oak trees ("Enkheimer Alteichen") and is an important area for diverse species (both habitat and food source).There are many footpaths and cycle paths leading through it. A visit can, for example, be combined with a walk to the Riedteich and the Berger Hang.
