Between the Schipdonk Canal and the Leietragel river lies the Schipdonkplas, a pond you can walk all around. The three plastic chairs on the bank are somewhat playful... but about 20 meters further, your smile fades when you see that a shelter is not only an inviting meeting place, but also a source of pollution (cans, PET bottles, etc.).
It's a shame, because this small area truly has something idyllic.
