This stretch of military road joins with various directives: to the west from France, starting from Brig, to the west and then south from the woods of Gouta, passing through the Colle della Melosa, and to the north towards the Redentore pass and the valley of Monesi. To the south it joins with a detour to Triora. The route is unpaved, in good to just fair conditions for a gravel, very rocky and therefore not fast. The stretch, however, is very scenic
