The old station Wichlinghausen is already a highlight in itself. But there is also a lot to discover around it. Football is played on the green areas in the summer, and right next to the train station is a remarkable course area that is open to the public. The Nordbahntrasse runs parallel to the valley floor through Wuppertal and is an old, converted railway line. You can ride undisturbed and car-free from Wuppertal Vohwinkel to Schee station in Sprockhövel. There are several tunnels (note: lighting is essential and you have to have it!) And on some viaducts the view of Wuppertal is phenomenal.
