The original houses were built as elongated trapezoids with wooden posts driven into the ground, measuring several dozen meters in length and designed to house multiple related families forming a clan. The site includes a sacred water spring and cultivation plots with ancient plant varieties including chickpeas, lentils, four types of wheat, and flax.
