The Rheinpark was laid out for the Federal Garden Show in 1957. In order to be able to cross the Rhine to the Zoo and Flora, Germany's first cross-river cable car was built. The Tanzbrunnen was built as an event location, where people met for coffee and cake and danced to popular music. A small train runs through the park from the dancing fountain to the thermal baths.

Cycling

Part of the Tanzbrunnen was already created in 1949, the striking tent was added in 1971. Water features and lighting make dancing on the rondel a special experience. Next to the dancing fountain there is a stage for open-air events.
