The Neo-Romanesque chapel, built in 1900, was located in the south-eastern part of the then cemetery, which operated before the war at today's Chopina Street. In the 1960s, together with the adjacent area transformed into a park, it was taken over by the Pomeranian Medical Academy, where, after renovation, the mortuary of the Department of Forensic Medicine was located, which operated until 2001. Currently, it is haunted by bricked-up windows and doors. In the meantime, several ideas for its adaptation have appeared, but none of them have been implemented.
