Burgfelsen Fountain and Benches

From the south you can reach the height of the castle rock, which attracts attention from far and wide with its antenna. What you do not recognize from the bottom are the rugged rocks in the southwest, with small observation decks that allow a wide view to the south.

Beautiful fountain ⛲ No drinking water - With two benches

It is a nice and shady place to take a break, especially on hot days. The two benches can also accommodate a larger number of people. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they should drink the water from the well or not. Unfortunately, the old and beautiful fountain made of local mountain stone was removed, thrown down the heap and replaced with an ugly concrete example. Very sad and not worthy of the nature reserve 😢
