- Following the renaturalization of the floodplain landscape, it has found its new location here at the "source of the Danube" near Donaueschingen, Schwarzwald-Baar district, Baden-Württemberg.
- The 2.5-ton limestone sculpture was created in 1875 by Franz Xaver Reich (Hüfingen).
- and stood for 150 years at the confluence of the Brigach and Breg rivers.
- The sculpture was extensively restored in 2024/2025.
