The approximately 260 cm high bronze sculpture by sculptor Andreas Futter was installed in 2001 as "Art in Public Space."
Originally only approximately 20 cm high, the artist significantly enlarged the bronze sculpture for this purpose on behalf of the city of Mössingen.
"Passersby," explains Andreas Futter, "view the figures from a worm's perspective, i.e., from below. The balancing act performed by the two depicted figures thus becomes an adventure, and the danger of falling is clearly evident."
