The Galgenberg near Sankt Andreasberg in the district of Goslar in Lower Saxony is a 594.3 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the highlands Harz.
The Galgenberg is located in the Upper Harz in the Harz Nature Park. It rises 1.1 km west-southwest of the town hall of Braunlager district Sankt Andreasberg. In the east-west direction running mountain is the district Schwalbenherd. The mountain is bordered by the valley of Sperrlutter in the north, west and south and by the valley Grüner Hirsch in the southeast.
