At the junction of the Kumerlehen-Widschachen access road stands a simple wayside cross that has been renovated several times. According to an old legend, this spot was once haunted – glowing wheels and other eerie "devilish things" were seen. Only with the erection of the cross, according to Heinrich Brandstetter (1929-2011), did peace return.
