The Derby Wharf Light Station is a historic lighthouse dating back to 1871. It is at the end of Derby Wharf in the Salem Maritime National Historic Site and has been an aid to ships entering Salem Harbor for years, but is inactive today. Though only 20 feet tall, it helped a lot of ships navigate over the years.
