Cape Alava is the westernmost point in the contiguous United States. Here you'll find a Makah archaeological site, an abandoned ranger station, and a colony of sea lions hanging out on the islands to the west. Camping is available here (permits required); this is one of the easiest spots to access the Olympic coast, and it certainly does not disappoint.
