The Arendsee is the largest natural lake in Saxony-Anhalt. It is located east of Salzwedel near the B190.

Whether you are a cyclist, walker, runner, or stroller, ... the lake is begging to be walked around.

There are always different highlights to discover along the lake, at short intervals, so it certainly won't get boring on the way.

If you want to do a longer walk with your four-legged friend, this is the right place. There is a lot to discover, plenty of shady paths and places to cool off on hot days.

I would recommend everyone to take a trip to the Arendsee, even if it doesn't have to be a walk around it. ;-)
