With the construction of the dam on the Rio Palmas, and the resulting artificial lake of Monte Pranu, in the old Tratalias began to experience phenomena of infiltration, landslides, damage to buildings...
Over 300 buildings were rebuilt on a nearby hill, considered safer from these phenomena, and the entire village was moved.
The old village of Tratalias is still well cared for and maintained today, from the church to the various alleys, and also has some small commercial activities within it.
