The Melkhörndüne is the highest point (20 meters) on the island, from whose platform you can see the entire island. A wonderful place for bird lovers to watch the flocks of migratory birds. It owes its name to the nearby dairy, where the cows were milked back then. Melkhörn means "Melkecke".

One of the most beautiful places on the island, view over the entire island. Very idyllic location.

It is the highest point on the island and, once 21.3 meters high, was also the highest natural point in East Frisia for a long time. The Melkhörn (= Melkecke) owes its name to the fact that the cows were milked here at the former 1st dairy until 1952.
