The White Rocks
The plateau where this vein of white quartz is located is also the highest point of the town with an altitude of 637m, offering a magnificent panoramic view. Quartz, feldspar and mica are the main minerals that make up micaschists and gneisses, the dominant metamorphic rocks in the Maures massif.

Hiking
The bright white quartz vein is not spectacular and might not be worth a longer hike on its own. But since the entire hiking trail up here is pretty and varied, that doesn't matter much. And the white rocks are, of course, a nice curiosity.
