The Engelsrieder See is a small, sickle-shaped moor lake that is a great place to linger. It was created artificially for fish farming. There is also a beautiful lawn on the north bank that invites you to relax. Bathing is very pleasant here.

The Engelsrieder See is a small, crescent-shaped moor lake with an area of 11 ha and a maximum depth of 4 m. It is located in the area of the municipality of Rott in the Landsberg am Lech district. Although it looks as natural as a natural lake, it is an artificial lake in which fish farming is carried out and can be bathed. The Rottbach flows through the lake and borders in the south on a forest area that merges into a raised bog. Its water has the deep brown color typical of moor lakes.
