The approximately 3 m high, hot-dip galvanized steel sculpture "Never War - Niemals Krieg" on Berliner Straße, dating from 2014, is by the steel artist, draftsman, and painter Uwe Jähnichen. The torn and shattered steel beams symbolize the destruction of home and life by war, while the blossoms growing on them stand for hope and peace.
