Good news for the municipality of Bargstedt: The villages of Bargstedt, Ohrensen, and Frankenmoor have been accepted into the Lower Saxony state's village development funding program. This means the municipality is among the newly selected village regions that can expect to receive state funding for their projects in the future. The Lüneburg Office for Regional Development (ArL) recently announced the inclusion in the village development program. The ArL will oversee and closely monitor the program over the coming years. Cycling

St. Primus Church is open to the public from Easter to October, and it's worth a look inside. If you go through the door to the right, under the organ, you'll also reach the Hall of Honor, with a window designed by Charles Crodel. The town center around the church, with its half-timbered houses, is also worth seeing.
