Once again a slightly longer tour (with an e-bike), however, the engine is also more often off than on. The weather is pretty nice but the wind is nasty. If you leave the jacket on, it's too warm, if you leave the jacket off, the wind makes it too cool. 🤷♂️ no matter the main thing was outside 😁😁😁

Today I went to the Isartrails with Tom. The weather was really pretty awesome 🤤.
Unfortunately, I used a route from the trail collector (also available on Youtube) and somehow thought it was a circuit🤷♂️ the almost 17 km were then just UP from Pullach the Isar, that was the second manko. The trails could definitely have been ridden better down the river. The trails were still great, very deeply muddy in places, but that was to be expected 😁 that's how we like it 🤪After the 17 km trail fire, it was a bit sore in the knees back on the banks of the Isar.
I have to say the Canyon Torque with 180mm travel was difficult for me today ... yes. Since I'm not an endurance athlete, it was already very exhausting today. I think with an all-mountain with 140mm suspension travel and a better geo for going uphill you would get along better there. But sausage, great day, great weather, great trails. The main thing is outside 😁😁😁February 20, 2021

Today we went to the corner of Deuring. Photos were made with the action cam I'm curious whether they are better than the photos with the smartphone.

So after the long shower and plenty of tea, I would like to describe the tour.I only started the tour at 2 p.m. because I dropped my girlfriend somewhere beforehand and then drove on there. Found a parking space, threw my shoes on my feet and started walking. At the beginning there was a short walk through the village and then there was the first small change because the path was fenced off by a newly created enclosure. So over the meadows to the path where it went on.
We then went to the Ofnet caves via quite interesting paths (bike tour is being planned). There was a little something going on here, despite the constant rain. The caves checked out and then in the direction of the Roman manor and from there on to the Ries disaster (meteorite impact). From here on I was almost completely alone and didn't meet anyone anymore, the rain hadn't bothered me until then, the temperature of about 3 degrees Celsius was also really ok. The forest paths were of course completely softened and accordingly muddy which made the "climb" more exhausting. After a while and looking at the clock, I began to think about what time I would be back at the car as the fog slowly came up and after 2 hours and 20 minutes my jacket lost its water-repellent effect and the moisture was now slowly increasing made the sweater.
At one point you had to cross a fence using a damp wooden ladder and then continue walking in a game enclosure. The forest somehow had a completely different charm, the ground was totally churned everywhere, numerous wildlife trails and wallows. The fog continued to rise and since I was completely alone and hadn't met anyone for a while, the experience was very special. The game enclosure was then behind me and I had arrived in Christgarten, from there it went along a small stream to Anhausen, past an old hop mill. It was slowly getting darker and we continued along a road to Hürnheim. From there on to asphalt
Ederheim. Reached the car in the dark, quickly took off my wet jacket and sweater and made my way to pick up my girlfriend again and warm up home first. Conclusion of the tour, mega nice, cool atmosphere, probably because of the rain there were really almost no people, I was wet but rain is only the weather, the main thing outside!February 7, 2021
