A church is said to have existed here as early as 880.
The current church was built between 1775 and 1776. It is a late Baroque hall church made of brick.
The swan on the tower is made of copper sheeting and was installed in 1997.
The bells ring every day at 9 p.m.
Large shady trees stand in front of the entrance.
