Wittmund District Hall

The Wittmunder district house was built in Wittmund between 1899 and 1901.
The district building has a special meaning for the residents. Since its inauguration, it has been one of the most beautiful buildings in the center of Wittmund.

The Wittmund district building, inaugurated in 1901, bears his signature: the architect Ludwig Klingenberg, who was born here and died exactly 100 years ago, created his masterpiece and thus the most beautiful building in the city of Wittmund.

The district building was built between 1899 and 1901 and features a highly artistic design.
It was extensively restored in 1980 and the following years.
