    Mountaineering

At 1,808 m, the Geigelstein is the second highest peak in the Bavarian part of the Chiemgau Alps and is known as the Chiemgauer Blumenberg and observation tower. In 1991, large areas of the Geigelstein were designated as a nature reserve. (Source: Wikipedia)

Actually a wonderful mountain with a view - unfortunately we weren't so lucky, but the way from Huben was beautiful. Maybe we can enjoy the summit happiness another time with a wonderful view of the Kampenwand - but this time with the MTB's to the Priener Hütte. Our descent is ideal for a bike & hike.

The flower mountain of the Chiemgau! Nice ascent from the Priener Hütte with great views of the summit and very nice views from above. We were particularly impressed by the view towards Breitenstein. The descent towards Breitenstein is less traveled and exciting - surefootedness is required!
