One of the city's most exciting street art hotspots is located on the Danube Cycle Path near Spittelauer Lände. A veritable open-air gallery has been created along the Danube Canal, where legal spray-painting surfaces from the Wiener Wand project allow for both spontaneous graffiti and elaborate murals. Particularly striking are large-format works by international artists such as Nychos, Case Maclaim, ROA, and Golif, which lend a distinctive character to the striking Stadtbahn arches and the Zaha Hadid House. Some works are even protected as permanent installations, such as murals with animal motifs or large-scale abstract compositions.
