The temple was built in 1838–1839. It represents late classicist architecture. The designer of the building was Jan Łuczaj. It is a brick building, on a rectangular plan with a narrower southern part. The façade has a six-column portico with a stucco Eye of Providence. Currently the seat of the Browarna art gallery.

Next to the building is a brick belfry from 1866. The building of the former church and the belfry were entered into the register of historical monuments in 1967.
