The column has not been found; the base of the Polytheistic Stone column is in the Osterburken Roman Museum. It was a sanctuary. In the 3rd century, the columns were deliberately destroyed.

Perhaps the bench with the small column once stood on this spot. Giant Jupiter columns were considered places of worship and stood in large squares throughout the Roman Empire. Replicas of Jupiter columns exist in Stuttgart and Frankfurt.
