The Contrada Ciporrelli is one of the most evocative rural areas of the hinterland of Monopoli, characterized by a hilly landscape dotted with centuries-old olive groves, vineyards and dry stone walls. Every year, in August, the contrada hosts the Vallata del Folklore, an event that celebrates local culture through popular music, traditional dances and typical gastronomy. Among the main events, the Sagra della Frittella Farcita offers visitors the opportunity to taste traditional dishes prepared according to grandmothers' recipes.
