The Market House is a late 17th or early 18th century building in the centre of Winster. It dates to when weekly cattle and cheese markets were important in this community.
The building was bought by the National Trust for £50 in 1906, the first of the Trust's properties in the Peak District National Park.
Today you can visit and see a scale model of the village and some information about the local area.
