Check out the Stardisc at the top of Stoney Wood, where there is also some lovely views of the surrounding area and the Middle Peak Quarry. Stoney Wood itself contains some interesting natural art so it is worth having a stroll through the park or adding it to your hike route. Be aware that it is hilly! :)

Behold StarDisc, an interesting 21st century stone circle perched atop a hill in Wirksworth in the Derbyshire Dales. The monument was created by artist Aidan Shingler and stands in a commanding position overlooking the Ecclesbourne Valley and village below.

It's a beloved local destination renowned for hosting a myriad of community activities that encompass art, creativity, education, science, and fitness.
