The Danz Tower was built in 1909 in direct structural connection to the extension building of the former optical telegraph station no. 43, which was part of the 1833 established telegraph line Berlin-Coblenz.
The 28m high Danzturm is freely accessible, as long as the restaurant in the neighboring building is open. If you have overcome the 100 steps to the observation deck on the outside, you overlook the city of Iserlohn and look in good weather up to Dortmund, Unna and Hamm. (Source: Wikipedia)
