Beautiful old town with a lot of half-timbering, harbor and interesting flood protection systems. The "vineyard" is to be seen more symbolically;) but a beautiful view rewards the effort. Hitzacker was supposed to close the small old town on the peninsula for motor vehicles, it wasn't that busy yet, but I still noticed a lot of conflicts between road users. Not nice, even counterproductive for the little bit of tourism. There are new large parking areas, you don't have to drive in there.
