There is good food in the freight yard and there is also a nice underpass.

Fronhausen station includes the entrance building and the goods hall. The ensemble was built in 1849 with the expansion of the Main-Weser Railway. The plans for the entrance building come from Kassel's chief court architect Julius Eugen Ruhl (1796-1871). A two-storey building in the style of "romantic classicism" rises on a cross-shaped ground plan. Characteristic are the gable projections, arched windows and stepped friezes on the gable facing the town and the railway side.
