Before the construction of the football fields and the construction of Den Box started, the grounds had to be examined archaeologically.
These excavations took place in the spring of 2017.
The terrains under our feet lie right on the edge of the Flemish Valley. This valley was created during the Ice Age (850,000 years ago).
Traces have been found from the Iron Age, Roman times, early medieval times and the Middle Ages.
All information is educationally displayed on the information boards.
