Nice rest station with interesting information boards on the history of the oil production (better probably Ölrausch) around 1880 in the Peiner north. The oil production at the oil drilling rig Hunäus 1 "Mohr 3" meant that the first pipeline in Germany was built from Oelheim to Peine. The highlight is also on the cultural route Hildesheim-Celle.
