The classicist plastered building of the "Adler-Apotheke" was constructed at the beginning of the 19th century. Its predecessor was once the guild house of the cloth cutters' guild of Neustadt Salzwedel before it collapsed in the 17th century. During renovation work, masonry from the 15th century and bricks from the 16th/17th century were discovered. After an extensive renovation in 1990, the pharmacy was reopened. The building has been used as a pharmacy since 1616, but has only borne its name since 1701.
