Energiefabrik Knappenrode – Saxon Museum of Industry

The former briquette factory is one of the four locations of the Saxon Industrial Museum. It is a first-class museum with state-of-the-art technology and museum didactics, including many interactive elements. We also liked the many preserved machines such as presses, plate dryers, etc. with a cleverly laid out tour route.
The turbine hall and the changing room can also be visited in large parts.
Take more than half a day and take a break in between. And: the audio guide would lead to sensory overload.
